Montauk

Last weekend, we rented a house in Montauk with Brittany & Derek's family. Dallin and Derek both signed up to compete in a triathlon on Saturday morning (though sadly, Dallin's bike ended up completely breaking during the race:/ hopefully better luck next time)! We decided to make a fun weekend out of it and spend some time at the beach. 

It was our first trip to a beach since living in Boston and Olivia's first trip to the beach ever! 

It's quite the drive getting from Boston to Montauk, but it was worth it to get some much needed sunshine and spend some time with family. It was especially fun spending time with Jack, Teddy, & Grant because they all fought over taking turns to hold baby Olivia. It was so cute to see how much her cousins adore her.

I had to sneak a quick kiss, she smells too good! (Don't worry, I only had her in the sun for one second).

Dallin had to give her a quick little cuddle too :)

Jack surfed those small little waves just before we headed back home. He knows how to surf so well and he is only 8 years old! I'm very impressed.

We also spent time exploring the town and beaches of Montauk, and we checked out the lighthouse. Next time we are here, I really want to drive through East Hampton to see all of the beautiful homes! I'm sad that we didn't have time to check them out on this trip since I hear they are amazing to see.

My favorite part of being a mom is that I get to kiss my baby all day long :)
