Palace of Versailles & Palais Garnier

I visited the Palace of Versailles one time before when I was on a study abroad in college, and so I was very excited to come back again with my family. It is absolutely gorgeous and one of my favorite places.

I love the room with all of the chandeliers and paintings on the ceiling - it's amazing.

Olivia looks like she liked it as well :)

On the night we went, they did a special event in the gardens: there were bubble machines, classical music playing, water shows at each fountain, a fire show on the lawn, and to end the night, an amazing firework show! I loved it. I only wish we got married here, so dreamy :)

We loved playing with Olivia in the bubbles!

Paris

It was such a fun time to be in Paris because the Euro Cup was going on! Check out the soccer ball they put on the Eiffel Tower for it. Also, they had a big screen set up right under the Eiffel Tower showing all of the games. We stopped by to see France play Iceland there one night (but left after seriously 10 minutes because it was too crazy to be there with a baby)!

I'm scared of heights, but Dallin really wanted to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower so he convinced me. I had already done this once before and remembered how high up it was so I was nervous. We went and dragged our huge stroller all the way to the top somehow. There was a woman at the top with my same stroller and so we bonded over how we were crazy for bringing them up.

This is where they showed the games each night, you can see the big screen below.

I love how beautiful Paris is - all of the buildings are the same style which is so charming.

We hung out the Tuileries garden for a bit. Even on a rainy day, I agree that Paris is always a good idea!

We walked by Pont Alexandre III bridge and down many gorgeous streets on our way to see the Arc de Triomphe.

This was one of the streets - I love how most of the balconies in Paris are decorated with pretty flower pots!

London Part 4

London is such a beautiful city, I felt like every street we walked down was more pretty than the last. I would love to live there someday!

We ate at the most British looking restaurant called The Churchill Arms with our friends who live in London. Their four little girls sure are the cutest! They were so good with Olivia and kept taking turns holding her.

LOVE all of the flowers.

Nearby is Kensington Palace and Gardens, so we walked around this area with them (while the girls rode scooters everywhere - so smart!).

Love these sweet girls!

London Part 3

Our friends Dani Bree & Daron were visiting London at the same time as us and so we met up to ride the London Eye! Such a touristy thing, but we had to:)

It gave us such great views of this pretty city.

After, we walked over and toured Westminster Abbey. It's amazing inside and I can't believe it was built a thousand years ago.

We had so much fun catching up with our friends!

Another day, Dallin and I ate at this place called Flat Iron Steak which was so delicious and well priced. Steak, fries, salad, and ice cream all for 10 pounds each. Yum!

We also went to this place called Neal's Yard, which just might be the most colorful corner in all of London.
