Palace of Versailles & Palais Garnier

I visited the Palace of Versailles one time before when I was on a study abroad in college, and so I was very excited to come back again with my family. It is absolutely gorgeous and one of my favorite places.

I love the room with all of the chandeliers and paintings on the ceiling - it's amazing.

Olivia looks like she liked it as well :)

On the night we went, they did a special event in the gardens: there were bubble machines, classical music playing, water shows at each fountain, a fire show on the lawn, and to end the night, an amazing firework show! I loved it. I only wish we got married here, so dreamy :)

We loved playing with Olivia in the bubbles!

The gardens are beautiful and we spent a lot of time wandering around them.

The next day we went to Angelina's to get hot chocolate and macaroons. Yum!

We walked from our hotel that was by the Tuileries Garden to the Palais Garnier, and stumbled upon Place Vendôme on the way. I love that every single building in Paris looks has the same beautiful style.

The opera house is an amazing building- definitely a must see if you go to Paris.

This room in the opera house was filled with gold, paintings, & so many details. So breathtaking.

This is inside of the opera house - how cool would it be to go to a performance here!

Another day we went to see Sacre-Coeur (aka Sacred Heart). It's located on top of a hill in the cute Montmartre neighborhood. We had the best views of Paris from here!

After we saw the Love Wall, which has "I love you" written in so many different languages on it! I wanted to find the cute pink Maison Rose restaurant, but we didn't have time.

Paris has my heart - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will be back here again soon! :)
